Q: How do I register and is it free?
A: Yes it is free to register. All you need to do is fill out the form on the front page. Remember to keep your username and password secure and in a safe place. You are now ready to fill out the general information page for your profile. Don't forget to save & proceed on each page.
Q: Is online dating safe?
A: Yes. Use common-sense and read our tips and advice on this site and you will see that online dating is a safe way to date.
Q: I have Registration Issues what do I do?
A: Please email admin@arrangemeadate.com where a member of our team will call you and talk you through the process.
Q: Help - I have Forgotten my Password, what do I do?
A: Go to the home page www.arrangemeadate.com and in the top right hand corner you will see 'Forgotten password' - simply click on this link which will take you to a new page where you will enter the email address that you registered with. An email will be sent to this address with a new password. Please ensure that you click on the link in this email and use your new password to log on.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: You can change the password once you are logged on. Go to 'My Account' and then choose the second tab 'Change my password' here you will have to enter your current password and then enter a new password twice.
Q: What is the difference between a paying member and a free member?
A: A free member may browse the website and look at other peoples profile but unable to send or read messages or add another member to their 'Little Black Book' A full member can browse, send and read messages and add members to their little black book. They maybe also use the unique Dating Calendar that only ArrangeMeADate have.
Q: What do I do if I have entered a wrong piece of information when I have registered?
A: Don't worry it's easy to amend your profile. Go into 'My Profile' section and amend the text you would like. You can also change your interests, words to describe you, General information under 'My Profile' - remember to save your changes!
Q: How do I write my profile?
A: Your profile is your chance to sell yourself to a potential date. This task can seem overwhelming but just keep it light hearted and be honest. We encourage members to write over fifty words about themselves, by the time you describe your hobbies, your likes and what type of person you are looking for and before you know if you will have written over fifty words.
If you get stuck imagine how your friends would describe you or have a look at other profiles and take some tips from the ones that you like.
ArrangeMeADate do not allow members to enter letters or random things to fill up the space.
Q: Do I have to include a photograph of myself?
A: By uploading a photograph of yourself on your profile you are over 5 times more likely to be viewed and contacted. Think about how you feel when searching for someone - do you click on the ones with no photo? Probably not! We always advise that you should add photographs of yourself, it gives people chance to see what you are like.
Q: Is it safe to pay with my credit card?
A: Yes we use Barclaycard to process all transactions online.
Q: What are my payment options?
A: ArrangeMeADate recognise that their members need to have flexibility and so we have a number of various payment options. Our members can pay using either a debit or credit card or their mobile telephone. We really have made things very simple. Q: I am having trouble uploading my photograph what can I do?
A: Firstly could you check that the photograph that you are trying to upload is no larger than 2mb and that it is jpeg format. If you are not able to resize your photographs or still have further problems then please contact admin@arrangemeadate.com who will be happy to assist you.
Q: How do I read a message in my inbox?
A: You can either click on the flashing envelope as you log in or click on 'Messages' and select the message that you would like to read. If you have not read a message the little message envelope will look closed/unopened. If you have already read the message the envelope next to the message will look opened.
Q: How do I reply to a message?
A: Once you have read your message there is an option below to reply to the message. You can also save or delete the message here too.
Q: If someone has put me into their 'Little Black Book', what does this mean?
A: All it means is that another member has narrowed their search down and has their eye on you! If you like this person you can add them into your 'Little Black Book' although we suggest that you get straight in and send them a message!
Q: How long before I should meet someone in person?
A: That is something you need to gauge with the person you're chatting to. When it feels right to ask to meet then go for it! Don't rush though and ask to meet in the first message. Get to know them a little bit first. Remember to meet somewhere public and follow common sense safety tips and always tell someone where you are going and who with.
Q: How do I remove my profile?
A: Log on, go to 'My Account' and on the right hand side of this page you will see 'Delete profile' - simply click on this button. Please note that once you have removed your profile there is no going back.
Q: I wish to cancel my membership will I still have to pay?
A: Your membership will last until the period that you paid for runs out. We do not take payments on an automatic renewal scheme. If you are unsure as to when your paid period runs you are able to see this online. Log on, go to 'My Account' and then 'Payment History'
Q: How long will it take before my profile is approved?
A: We say up to 48 hours but generally speaking we get this done within 12 hours.
Q: How do I get in touch with the ArrangeMeADate team?
A: The best way is to email admin@arrangemeadate.com and someone from our team will aim to get back to you within 48 hours.
